Jon-Boii was born in a little German/Creole town called Vacherie, Louisiana.

At 10 months of age his family relocated to the nearby college town of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

While attending Thibodaux High School Jon-Boii pursued his passion for drum playing. It was there where he collaborated with the band Director and excited the crowds at each football game with fresh new beats and cadences.

Also at this time, Jon-Boii was nominated to fill the role as DJ at the local teen club. Last but not least, Jon-Boii performed on stage with best friends (Shyfe and Jeremy) in a group called THE BATTLE BOYS. You can listen to some of those early days songs and beats that the battle boys wrote, produced and  performed in their teenage years.

Upon graduating from high school, Jon-Boii was on his way to higher education in Winter Park-Orlando, Florida. He was Full Sail Bound.

In 2004, Jon-Boii graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in music production.  In a graduating class of approximately 400 students, Jon-Boii earned the prestigious Course Director's award for BEST ATTITUDE AND WORK ETHICS. Additionally, he earned the award for BEST FILM  MUSIC SCORING.
